| description | It starts out with a small recap on how John and Esme came to be buddies, at first she asks for him, he arrogantly wonders why he is being called upon, she asks for his help and he refuses at first until he sees how his very face does not send her into a fit of needy lust. So with this in mind and his interest peaked, John decides to join Esme on her quest to rally up with other Gods to fight the humans.
Esme tells John that she'll sway his vote soon enough so that he would love to defeat the humans and join sides with the Gods only. John launches into a slight historical rant on how the gods screwed him over and the only ones who would even take him in were humans who were loving and responsible for him until he became a man, so he sees no reason why he should fight the very people who loved him basically and treated him like their very own. Esme sees the resentment there and the anger, so she apologizes but still thinks her view on the war is right, but looking at John she wonders how he could even join up with her if that was where his heart was. So she jumps forward, looking into his eyes she asks, "If you're not at all interested in giving the humans what they deserve then why are you joining me? I'm standing against everything you stand for basically, so why are you helping me?" John's a bit put off by how close she gets to him and has to take a second to breathe and collect his thoughts before he answers, "W-Well, you obviously need some protection, with a mouth as big as yours and that crap you spew out, you're gonna get hurt, so having a guy like me around is always a good idea." Esme just blinks and goes, "Seriously? Me? You think I'm going to get hurt? HA! I'm a demi-god, daughter of the Egyptian Goddess of War I live for fighting, for wars, how do you expect ME to get hurt?" John just shakes it off and decides to change the subject, "So do you hate humans just because they killed a God, or is there something else?" To which Esme's joking stops and she stares at him, feeling cornered, she just shakes her head and walks off saying, "It's none of your business." HISTORY AND ANGST?! Yes I THINK so! :D I'll put up a video later with a bit of Esme's past to elaborate more on her "hate" and try to get through the barrier of her justifications and show just how much like a little girl she really is, and how bitter she is over life.
